SKILLS and DRILLS HOMEWORK
Players, keep working! Find a safe spot and practice one hand cradling--especially left (non-dominant) hand. Find a wall (OUTSIDE!) and practice passing/catching! Go for a jog with your stick and a ball--practive V dodge, face dodge and spin moves.

2011 Tournament News
Vestal Spring Fling- Great way to start our season--for many, their first games ever! The young LRL team posted a record of 2-1-1 and showed phenomenal improvement throughout the day. LRL peaked by winning the 3rd place trophy with a dominant performance.
The LAUNCHPAD Tournament, Little Red Lax defended home turf June 11-12 right here in Ithaca! Your Ithaca Club made its strongest showing ever with over 40 players taking the fields. 3/4, 5/6 7/8 and JV/Varsity teams faced the toughest competition Upstate NY has to offer. It was a great weekend for Ithaca Girls' Lax!
Next up--The CANANDAIGUA INVITATIONAL Sat June 18th. LRL fielded U12 and U14 teams. We made plenty of noise witht he U14 squad posting a 2 - 1 record on the day. LRL worked hard to beat the heat and the competition--another great showing!
The Irondequoit Invitational was our last tournament of the spring sesion. LRL again faced the toughest clubs in the state and gained tremendous experience in the 8 v. 8 format. Most families made a weekend of it and had a great getaway in the Rochester area!
