-all substitutions on the fly, there will be no horns.

-when a player shoots and the ball goes out of bounds the player closest to the ball when the ball goes out of bounds will be awarded possession.

-No Long Sticks allowed

- 20 minute running time halves-

-3 minute half time

- Face Offs will only occur to start the game and at the start of the second half

-each team is guaranteed 3 games. The top 2 teams in each division will play a championship game. We will decide who participates in the Championship game by best overall record, head to head play, least amount of goals allowed, most goals allowed and a coin flip.

-after each goal, possession will be giving to the goalie of the team that was just scored upon.  At the 3rd and 4th grade level possession will be given at the midfield line.

- No body checking.

-there will be no penalty time served

-If a penalty is committed, the team in which the penalty was committed against will receive a 3 on 2 fast break in their offensive zone starting at the midfield line.  There will NO penalty time served.

-If a penalty occurs at the end of a half, a fast break will be allowed to end half.

- In an event of a tie score at the end of the regulation game, teams will alternate  3 on 2 fast break opportunities until one team scores and the other team does not. The team that scores will be declared the winner of that game.  Fast break will be over when offensive team loses control of the ball (missed shot, dropped pass, defensive steal). No player can start the fast break twice- teams will need to alternate players who start with the ball at midfield.

Except for the championship game as this will be sudden death overtime and we will start overtime with a face off.  First team to score a goal will be declared the winner.  The overtime period will be 10 minute running time.

-NO PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO QUESTION THE REFEREE’S, ONLY THE TEAMS COACH CAN TALK WITH THE REFEREE, BUT IN NO CASE WILL ANY VULGARITY TOWARDS THE REFEREE’S BE ALLOWEED. IF THIS OCCURS THE COACH AND/OR THEIR TEAM WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE TOURNAMENT.
